An afternoon in Pier A Park

I spent the afternoon in Pier A Park.  This lovely park is located in Hoboken, New Jersey.  I made my way to the park by catching the 126 bus from Port Authority Bus Terminal. Pier A Park was the last stop.

I enjoyed the bus ride and regret not taking any photos because of the view of leaving Manhattan, and also of Washington St in Hoboken.  I am definitely going to have to spend some time exploring that area during my next visit.

Today wasn’t my first time at this park, but it was my first time during the day time. It was just as breathtaking in the daytime as it is at night.

This was the most crowded I had ever seen the park. There had to be at least 70 people just laying out and sunbathing on the grass.I didn’t take photos out of respect for  their privacy. I surely wouldn’t want anyone taking and uploading photos of me sunbathing. So, instead I just decided to capture the beautiful view of the NYC skyline across the Hudson River.

At one point, I even noticed a few people flying by on their jet skis. Everyone seemed to be having such a great time.

I also noticed a few food trucks parked alongside the street.

Look at that gorgeous view!

I am already looking forward to my next visit.
