Although our trip was packed full of excitement, I have to say my last day in Amsterdam was my absolute favorite. It was super chill and relaxing. Sometimes I tend to get overwhelmed when following a tight schedule, or any schedule at all. It really depends on my familiarity with the area.
We spent the morning relaxing and packing away our belongings. Right around noon, we headed out into the city and went on the lovers cruise. No we were not lovers, but that was the only cruise available last-minute. It was nice and relaxing.

During the tour, we were given earphones and had the option of choosing different language translations. I spent most of the time taking photos and videos while listening to the recordings.

After the cruise, we walked around for a bit and just wanted to be in the moment and enjoy our last day.
We stumbled unto a cheese shop and decided to check it out.

I don’t think I’ve ever been in a room with such a variety of different cheeses.

I tried a sample of almost everything and ended up going with the Pesto, Smoked Gouda, and Hot Pepper.

I probably would have bought more but I had already bought so much from gift shops and was concerned about overpacking my carry-on.
The rest of the day was spent aimlessly walking around and taking photos.
The following morning i did my final packing and headed to the airport.

Hopefully I will be able to go beyond Amsterdam and explore other cities in The Netherlands during my next visit.
