The Jamaican Chronicles: The Return to Sweet Spice

During my recent stay in Negril, I was able to revisit this wonderful restaurant. My aunt and sister both love this place and always make it a point to dine in whenever we are in the area.

I was so happy to have my friend tag along on this trip. I’ve told her many great things about my trips to Jamaica but one main thing I always mention is the sauce that comes with the fried chicken. I’ve never been able to properly imitate it but finally she would be able to try what I’ve been ranting about for ages.

Unfortunately, I don’t remember what kind of beverage I had but we all ordered something fruity along with our bottled water.

Of course, we also ordered the fried chicken meal, and it did not disappoint. The previous time I dined at Sweet Spice, I remember I had ordered curry goat. I think I’ll keep ordering something different with each visit. Maybe next time I’ll order the escovitch fish.
