Tried my very first seafood boil in Savannah, Georgia at Top Crab Seafood & Bar back in 2023—and wow, what an experience! Messy, fun, and so delicious.
Although I can’t remember my exact order, the bag was filled with crab legs, shrimp, corn, potatoes, and I think sausage. Everything was perfectly seasoned and dripping in buttery garlic goodness.

No I haven’t but I frequently road trip to Savannah. Hw can this dish be prepared without being fried?
There is no escaping the fried okra unless maybe using an air fryer but the main course itself was either boiled or steamed in a bag. I’ve had it a few times since elsewhere and I like that they typically give options so you might also be able to choose whether you want it seasoned/buttered or not.
I’d rather pay more and get my food preparation preference correct.
