I’ve visited Elizabeth Park quite a few times this year. On this occasion I stopped by the sunrise overlook.

The parking lot was a tight fit with a narrow driveway, so I decided not to stay too long as I didn’t want to prevent anyone else from entering.

I sat for a bit and admired the view. I could see children running and playing in the vast field before me. I also saw a few dogs living their best lives frolicking about the place. I’m guessing it looks even better during sunrise, but I visited in the late afternoon.

Maybe I’ll make it a point to try and check it out at dawn next time.

This has been one of my favorite views of this year.
